About Me

Romans 12:2 says "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." We are a generation of Radical young believers who dare to be different. We are a group of young people who seperate ourselves from everything this world has to offer and pursue a lifestyle of worship, fasting & prayer. We make an effort to transform others wherever we go allowing the power of God to manifest in us so that others might be set free. Pastor of Elevation Church Steven Furtick - The Truth!

I am sure many of you have heard the latest news about the Pastor of Elevation Church Steven Furtick. I'm sure by now many are wondering if this information is in fact accurate. If your not  sure what I am talking about then let me give you a little background. Recently there was an article published saying that the pastor of elevation church Steven Furtick was leaving the church to accept a large some of money ($110 million to be exact) contract with Lakewood Church.

I would first like to say that this claim is absolutely ridiculous. One thing that I do know is that if you are doing anything for the Kingdom of God there will always be accusers. Many people will try and destroy your reputation simply because you represent Christ. I am actually astonished at how much attention the article has even gotten. I don't know much about Pastor Steven Furtick but what I do know from watching his videos is that he speaks a message that is unpopular to many people who want a reason or an excuse to turn away from Christ.

Below is a video that you will find of Pastor Furtick himself addressing the accusations. Check your sources people.... Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below

P4CM on the rise with Jesus at the center

Please check out this article about a  movement of young adults on the rise with Jesus as the center. Although I do not attend this ministry I love to see other ministries grow in their love for Jesus and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through creativity. Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments!

P4CM or the Passion for Christ Movement

P4CM, the acronym for the Passion for Christ Movement, is a modern youth ministry group. It is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has a tie to a church in the Los Angeles area. Its influence is felt by people in many areas of the United States and the world due to an online presence and numerous events associated with it.
Scripture based teachings
This group follows Bible-based teachings and seeks to spread their message by using different formats that include hip hop music from prominent and upcoming artists, as well as poetry readings. The group addresses different issues of concern to people with the backdrop of religious teachings. These teachings can take a variety of formats and may answer questions that many people have about the Bible or Christian philosophy in general. Since many people have questions about how to live a Godly life in today’s society, these topics are ones that people may find highly relevant. The format is one that is modern yet has ancient wisdom.
Music as a vehicle for religious teaching
Many people learn about the ministry by hearing one of the artists perform or by attending one of the events with a friend or family member. There are different kinds of events going on at all times but one of the most requested is the RHETORIC style, which can be held in different locations.
Another way that this group disseminates information is to use Youtube videos. There are quite a few performances by hip hop artists, sermons and other selections available from this group. This helps to make information available to anyone, anywhere, at any time. People that have heard of the group but are not necessarily familiar with it will often review the different videos on Youtube prior to becoming more involved with the group.
The group also has events like seminars to help people develop leadership skills. These events can be found on the website calendar but people may also be interested in watching videos from previous events.
What’s on the website?
The P4CM website is a rich source of information for people that are interested in learning more about the Bible and Christianity. There are quite a few different resources that include music videos, seminars, advice and information articles, a phone app, links to videos on Youtube and a calendar of events. People will also find links for social media for the group that include Facebook and Twitter.

The Heart of Eucharisteo

Today I received a message that said "Let us contend for a heart of Eucharisteo" of course because I  had never heard the word my curiosity lead me on a journey of and eye opening discovery. The original term used, means thanksgiving. The root words within eucharisteo: Charis meaning grace and Chara meaning joy.Ann Voskamp said a profound statement about this particular word." I will never experience the fullness of my salvation until I expressed the fullness of my thanks everyday." Have you ever thought about how easy it is to go throughout your day and simply never stop and give God thanks for  what we call to be very little things. As I really began to take a look deep into this word and individually look at myself. I believe that this is something that I must challenge myself to grow in. Without thankfulness it becomes easy to focus on everything that is not going right in your life instead of focusing all of that energy on giving God the thankful it makes it easier to reach out and love those around us.One thing that I have come to discover about thankfulness is that "I" can not exist. Which leaves no room for me to ever focus on myself. To experience the fullness of Jesus Christ we must be committed to hearts of thankfulness. I encourage you today to commit to having a heart of Eucharisteo with me let  us contend together. LOVE YOU ALL!
lory. There are several passages in the bible that speak about thanksgiving and not just when things are going well but also in the difficult times. Thanksgiving is not just something that needs to be brought back into our hearts individually but corporately as the body of Christ. When we are

LUKEWARM CHURCHIANITY !

I am burdened with the state of the American Church. But more so undone by the wretchedness of my heart. The church has become comfortable in our state of sin, hypocrisy and compromise. I believe that one of the few burdens that I carry is specifically for the state of those who are in church and believe because they say a prayer one time but continue to live comfortable sin filled lives they are saved. What give us the audacity to believe that we can come before a Holy God any kind of way? Luke warm Churchianity is what its called.

“It means that the focus of the religion [what is supposed to be Christianity] has shifted from Christ to the church. Instead of total reliance upon Christ for salvation, sanctification, Christian growth, and spiritual nourishment, adherents of Churchianity rely on the church to an equal or even greater extent for these things. The central difference between Churchianity and Christianity is that Christ is at the center of Christianity, while the church is at the center or Churchianity. Of course those who practice “Churchianity” still consider themselves Christians and probably would deny that the word Churchianity describes their religion; yet, when all of the facts are considered, their religion bears greater resemblance to “Churchianity” than Christianity because of the undue focus given to the church in their religious devotion. So, in theory these professed Christians claim loyalty to Christ, but in practice they are actually loyal to their church. For, when it comes to loyalty in actual practice, “churchians” would rather depart from Christ, Himself, [they would rather depart from the truth of His Word, His teachings, and His doctrine] than forsake their church. Sadly, their church is at the center of their religious devotion; it has stolen their hearts; to it they have pledged their undying allegiance. In Churchianity, we find the church elevated to a position far above even that of their professed Savior.”

This is what is beginning to take precedence in the lives of the church in America. We would rather be comfortable and never commit to living lifestyles that cause us to change so that the world can see the real reason why we claim to go to church in the first place. After the fancy lighting and the awesome worship team ..If Jesus Christ is not the center then what’s the point? After we have done all of our workshops, conferences and come up with every strategy in the world to get people to come to our churches. If JESUS CHRIST is not what we are presenting then we must reevaluate what we have made him out to be. The truth of the matter is we have brought the bible into the church rather than the church into the bible. We have made church everything else but what its suppose to be. Half of the things that we have taken on as Christianity are far from the word of God.

Here are some practical things that I believe can show you if you fit Churchianity

Do you ever open your bible and read it outside of church services?

Do you share the gospel?

Do you have a prayer life outside of whatever prayer movement your in?

Are you making Disciples?

Are you convicted of your sin?

Do you omit Gods word to justify your sin or someone elses? EX: Homosexuality, Fornication, Clubbing, drinking, pride, rebellion, lust

As long as you’ve been a Christian have you experienced any growth?

Do you help the widows and the orphans?

Are you lying to yourself…..???

Those are just some of the many questions you can use to evaluate YOURSELF. This is something that I had to do. Realizing that I need to realign myself with what matters the most and that’s Jesus Christ. Not just with lip service but with my lifestyle. What I am trying to get you to realize is that all because you go to church and claim to be saved does not mean that this can not be you! Many in the body of Christ have been deceived in thinking this way. We have made church a cool thing to do on Sundays rather than a place were we can go and grow in the word and LIVE IT OUT!

LETS DO JESUS NOT CHURCH!!

Scriptures

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Matthew 7:15-20 (NKJV) “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them

.
Galatians 1:6-9 (NKJV) I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

University Suspends Student for Refusing to Stomp On Jesus Name

According to Charisma News:
"A Florida Atlantic University student has been suspended for refusing to trample on Jesus' name.
According to Ryan Rotela, a Mormon, his Intercultural Communications professor forced his students to write “Jesus” on a piece of paper and then stomp on it as part of a “lesson in debating.” Rotela refused, picked up the paper from the floor and placed it back on the table."

My opinion: These are the things that we as believers should be concerned about. We take a stand for everything that we want but when it comes to the things of God we would rather be silent and passive. I commend this young man for not only his bravery but also for not denying Jesus. We think that denying Jesus means we verbally say that we don't believe in Him, but our actions can deny Jesus as well. What puzzles me is how many other people in the room professed to believe in Jesus Christ and kept silent.

"But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven." Matthew 10:33

For this to even be in a school curriculum shows us what the world is coming to. I also wonder why if this is suppose to be a diverse activity, why were  other religions  not asked to be written on the paper? Why didn't they use  Muhammad? While I am a strong believer of Jesus Christ there is one thing about other religions that we as Christians lack and that's the willingness to fight for what we know to be true. When are we as believers going to rise up and not just see this as a horrible story that happened to someone else? This Jesus Christ that they want to step on is not just a name on a piece of paper,He is the one you profess to believe in!  If we as Christians say we believe in Jesus then we should be willing to take a stand with Him. We will not and can not settle for half hearted devotion.. or what some may call the "Half way House" not all in for Jesus but not all out for sin either. I believe that the Lord is speaking through this situation. Jesus is the real deal and that's why the world hates Him. We must refuse to come into agreement with what the world says about our King. He will return for His bride will you be ready??? would love to hear your thoughts !

Americanized God ..

I'm sitting here as I began to talk to the Lord I couldn't help but become overwhelmed to think just maybe I could be wrong about the things that I have made God out to be..The more I begin to read His word and look at the world around me, the more I see that my perspective of God is someone what faulty and not built on the solid truth of who He really is ..Instead it is who I've made Him out to be. Fitting  my own fleshly materialistic box. Have you ever thought to yourself what if you too have been lying about God? am I closer to carnality than I actually am to Him?

According to the Greek dictionary, it means to have the nature and characteristics of the flesh (or more simply, it means “fleshly”). What, then , is the flesh? Sometimes it refers to the whole material part of man 1 Corinthians 5:9, Hebrews 5:37 and based on this meaning, carnal sometimes relates to material things like money Romans 15:27 or to the opposite of our weapons of spiritual warfare 2 Corinthians 10:4. But the word flesh also has a metaphorical sense when it refers to our disposition to sin and to oppose or omit God in our lives.

I get so overwhelmed when I think about American Christianity because a large portion of the body of Christ including myself have made God fit their standards and ways of life vs them fitting His standards and ways of life. That is why it is easy for us to ask Him for material possessions and if we ever had to live amongst those who were poor we would honestly feel like that something was wrong with us. The church has told us that the more money, and material possessions that we have that means we are blessed by God. What do you say to the orphans widows and the rest of the world who lives well below  what we consider poverty here in America? but yet God is known in such a tangible way in those places because they aren't surrounded by "STUFF". We have the freedom to carry our bibles and even to share the gospel openly with others and we don't do it! We think that we are doing God a favor by even showing our faces at church on a Sunday and get mad at the preachers if the service is a minute too long because we need to go EAT!

While all these things are true I am sure that there are others that the Lord are going to raise up within this nation to speak truth and awaken this generation from out of their slumber. Its time that we get serious with ourselves and with God. Jesus will return for His bride and all because we go to church on Sunday it will not give us a free ticket to heaven ....

Stop feeling Sorry for Yourself & do something for God!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Have you ever thought to yourself "Man I'm such a failure?" Ever felt like no matter what you do nothing seems to go right? Well I certaintly have and I am here to tell you beloved you are suffering from what I like to call a dangerous dose of self-pity and selfishness and oh yeah don't forget our buddy pride. Yeah... that's right way to crash your party right? While most may be intrigued by this blog because of the title ..this is no feel good message. You would assume that the proper response for this would be to tell you that everythings going to be ok, just keep on beleieving and you will get through it eventually.WRONG ANSWER! dont get me wrong words of encouragment are great and a very much so needed within the body but sometimes we also need someone to really tell us the truth about ourselves so that we can wake up and realize that while we are spending time navel gazing someone is dying on our watch. Truth is no matter how many times someone tells you your not a failure until you change your mind you will still feel the same This deadly diesase has come to sit on many in the body of Christ so that we will stay complacent and never do anything for God. You can't fix yourself nor will waddling in self-pity help you break free. We do not serve a God that can not sympathize with us in our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:10).  Which means everything that your going through it has a purpose. People are dying on our watches as we sit and navel gaze on things that we can not change.I want to encourage you not to live hope.We are truly living in the last days when many will turn away from the faith because of hopelessness and discouragment. Gird up the lions of your mind, get serious and do something for God!! People are dying and there is a war going on. Now is not the time to feel sorry for yourself but now is the time to stand firm get in theWord find out what God says about you and overcome!   Feel free to share your experience :)

Scriptures:
  • 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
  •
  • Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

You Still Want Me?

Has someone ever told you how amazing you are and you said thank you with a smile but in your heart you couldn't find any reason to believe what they said? It's easy to focus on the things that are wrong about us and super easy to agree with all the negative things that has ever been said about us. This morning this reality hit me like a ton of bricks when the voice of the Lord whispered to me "I still want you" What? God are you kidding me! you still want me? Tears filled my eyes and for the first time I found a reason to believe what he spoke to me. Its not enough to read about God and have knowledge of who He says you are and never enter into that reality. God dreamed about you before the foundations of the earth were formed and He wrapped your body around that dream.(Psalms 139)  Beloved the truth is no matter how many times we may have disqualified ourselves the Lord  still wants us! this reality is profound and it changes everything. Circumstances in our lives change but God is constant and His dream about us is still the same. God is a gentlemen He will never force His dream for our lives on us, it is totally up to us whether we choose to walk out Gods purpose or believe the lies of the enemy. Why would God have to remind me that He still wanted me? because I had forgotten. I was so caught up in the routine of life that I lost sight of the very thing that I was living for... though I'm not worthy He still wants me.. Its a beautiful reality to know that even in my weak attempts to love Him ...He wants me and you too!

Hope this blesses you .. feel free to leave comments and thanks for all those who have read elishamovement blog posts 6,371 views total keep reading !

Is it possible for a christian to become an enemy of God?

You may be looking at my title and wondering whats this all about. Well this was the title of an article handout at our ministry from a passage in a book.Immediately looking at the title it makes you want to read further just to see what the answer is to the question.Well I will just start out by telling you that the answer is absolutely yes. Now this answer will shake the foundation of everything you once thought about. Yes, He is loving, merciful, compassionate. But we also know that He is jealous for all of our affections. Anything that attempts to stand in the way of the affections that we are to have for Him. He will not relent until He has our full and undivided attention. Have you ever been a really hard situation and your rebuking the enemy and it just seems as if your not getting any type of break through? Sometimes its not always the enemy its God. He will do whatever necessary to get our attention and if it means that He has to shake up everything in our lives to do so He will. A lot of times its not the enemy but its the hand of God tugging at our hearts and to give us a dose of reality. The TRUTH is that God does not need us. We need Him more than anything. It is His hearts desire that we all would accept the invitation to fellowship with Him but unfortunately the ways of the world have become more enticing. We find more pleasure in the things of the world than we actually do spending time with Him.Intoxicated by Babylon, because you say that you are a christian please do not disregard any of these words. Those who love the world do what they do whole heatedly because its what their living their lives for, but if we as Christians still act, think and talk like the world the we are enemies of God.

still don't believe me. well lets go to the word of God:

Matthew 6:24 (kjv)

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

mammon is another word for worldiness. So basically the scripture is saying that it is absolutely impossible to serve God and love the world. No matter how you try to make it fit into your Christan walk. It absolutely will not work.

Its almost like being in a marriage. If you are married and you are seeing someone else on the side it is impossible to love your spouse whole heatedly if your not full committed and that's the same way it is with serving God. If we are luke warm with one foot in the world and one foot in Christ we can't serve Him. The desires of the world will always hold more weight than the desire to serve Christ because the road is narrow and it cost you everything. Many aren't willing to give up everything so its easy to settle

I believe that God is calling us to make a decision... right now in this very moment we are to choose this day whom we will serve will we love God or love mammon. If we as believers don't make this crucial decision and turn away from the ways of the world we could very well become enemies of God. Hes called us to walk at a higher standard and if we love Him we obey Him. We find it hard to obey Him because we don't really love Him.

This is just thoughts that have been running in my mind all day. Continue to follow me on this journey and feel free to leave comments.

Eating away Destiny..

Wednesday night Encounter God service at the Garner Prayer Furnace:
As we sat down and prepared to recieve a teaching from our Apostle there was antcipation on what was to be shared. Hungry for the word! She began telling us that the Lord had given her a word for us corporately and everyone sat attentive ready to hear the word from the Lord. As I pulled out my notebook and bible I was eager to hear what the word was. She began by saying that "corporately this is something that God desires to bring to our attention as we transition into our prayer furnace" and then the word GLUTTONY came out. Immediately the room fell dead silent.so silent infact that you could have heard a piece of paper drop on the carpet. Automatically my mind began to come up with many different excuses why this wasn't me before the message even started but as she began talking I realized that it was very much indeed me.

Gluttony is an area that many don't like to talk about nor actually sit and take the time to examine if it is indeed operating within our beings. It is not talked about alot within the body of Christ because we would much rather preach a message on the love of God rather than a message that will set the captive free.

Have you ever took the time .. really.. to just sit and think about if this may be something that is operating in your own life. Here are some things to give you to think about

- How much money do you spend on feeding your flesh
- How many times a week do you fast?
- Do you eat large portions even when your not hungry?
- Do you find yourself eating when your going through a rough time?
- Do you have secret stashes of food hidden away?

These are some of the few examples that we had to face within ourselves

Scriptures:

PHI 3:19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and
their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.

* If that wasn't juicy enough for you lets read the message version ..

PHI 3:19 Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal. There are many out there taking other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to go along with them. I've warned you of them many times; sadly, I'm having to do it again. All they want is easy street. They hate Christ's Cross. But easy street is a dead-end street. Those who live there make their bellies their gods; belches are their praise; all they can think of is their appetites.

One of the fruits of the Spirit is SELF-CONTROL. Whenever we can't contol our appetites, turn down our plates and position our hearts to become closer to God then the sins that come to entice us will always win. Gluttony is not just about eating to much it affects every area of our lives. It is something that is so overlooked that it has become normal.

I hope that you will continue to follow me as I take you on my Journey of freedom from gluttony.

America Celebrates the death of a Terriorist but down plays abortion

Beloved,

As many of you know today America celebrates..but what is the glorious occassion? The death of a terriorist. Today, not only as an American citizen but as a believer my heart is grieved. As big of a win this may be to some, we throw parties over a man's death but yet the real issue has yet to be faced.Although the death of Osama may be infact in some form or fashion justice for those who lost families to the war we must sober up and realize that this by no means stops terriorm. Im sure osama had no problem dieing. That is what there culture after all is known best for doing. Dieing for what they believe. There is no victory won in his death but it is a great loss. Why do I say this? Because America has been decieved if we believe that the killing of innocent babies (abortion) everyday in this nation holds no weight, but the killing of one man is worth celebrating.

reading many posts on facebook today this in fact is one of my favorites.. " Tell them osama dead without a body they celebrate. Tell them Jesus died for them and rose without proof of a body and they speculate."

This statement alone holds so much weight. We would rather celebrate a body we have yet to see but when it comes to Christ dieing it is questioned.. when are we going to wake up? Take a look at everything that is happening around us.. the Lord is shaking this nation but we are too busy celebrating the death of one man.Innocent children are dieing and lawlessness is sweeping throughout the land.

James 4: 1-3

Why do you fight and argue with each other? Isn't it because you are full of selfish desires that fight to control your body? 2You want something you don't have, and you will do anything to get it. You will even kill! But you still cannot get what you want, and you won't get it by fighting and arguing. You should pray for it. 3Yet even when you do pray, your prayers are not answered, because you pray just for selfish reasons.

We must wake up America and realize that this battle is not won through death but it is won through prayer. Now is not the time to celebrate because there is much more to come. If we beleive that it ends with osama then we have fooled oursleves once more. Its time to turn our hearts back to God. Its time for America to wake up and get bloody knees !!

Are you a slave to your thoughts ??

Beloved,

As believers we forfeit the level of freedom that we were meant to experience because of the way we think.EVERYTHING starts with a thought..but it is what we do with those thoughts good or bad that determine the outcome. When we began to find ourselves as believers walking out ungodly cycles and settling for temporary pleasures we must get honest with ourselves! why do I think the way I think? Why do I even say the things I say?

Matthew 12:34 (NIV) You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

That scripture says enough all in itself but if you want to see it a little bit deeper check out the message..

Matthew 12:34 (message) "You have minds like a snake pit! How do you suppose what you say is worth anything when you are so foul-minded? It's your heart, not the dictionary, that gives meaning to your words."

This is powerful. It clearly shows you that its impossible to speak things out of your mouth without first thinking about it.

Yes I am about to step on your toes.Have you or someone ever said something really mean to you and then said just joking? Regardless of whether it seemed to be a joke deep down in their heart there was truth to the statement because the thought must take root in the heart first before it ever comes out of the mouth. You may want to think about that next time you say something that you really don't mean...

Why do you think the word of God says that there is death and life in the power of the tongue? Our mouths can be so wicked that they have the power to destroy others. The heart is powerful without it, we can't function.Every time we allow our thoughts to override the Holy Spirit we clog our hearts up and if you have ever seen what cigarettes due to your lungs over a period of time just imagine the thoughts that we think and allow to take root in our hearts become over a period of time.Never mind the fact that on the cigarettes box it lets you know exactly what it will do to you but many choose to ignore it. That's the same way when it comes to our thoughts and the things that we say. The word of God tells us exactly what it will do to us but we choose to overlook it.

Are you tired of getting the same results out of life? well what are you going to do about it? You must change what you do.. and in order to change what you do you have to change the way you think!

Romans 12:2 (NIV) " Don't live any longer the way this world lives. Let your way of thinking be completely changed. Then you will be able to test what God wants for you. And you will agree that what he wants is right. His plan is good and pleasing and perfect."

Romans 12:2 (Message)
Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out.
Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Well these two scriptures couldn't say it any better. Jesus didn't call them brood of vipers for nothing he understood that whats in your heart plays a big role in who you become. so I encourage you all to allow God to show you these things in your own life and choose to no be conformed. Change your thinking! :)

P4CM Pastors..

Many of you have recently heard about Pastor Justin Cox and Chris Facey stepping down from P4CM for a while due to sexual immoral sin. This blog is not to bash them at all but I want to thank them. Why? These are real leaders with real hearts.. So many leaders out there would rather hide their sin and pretend like everything is okay but I respect them. Although it hurts my heart."True Repentance" causes you to do these things. Although many may have alot to say God still wants to use them..same way he uses you.People think that because you are a Pastor you are exempt from sin. No not one bit.I respect them because they exposed their sin and that goes to show that their is no cover up or no reputation that must be kept.I do not know them personally but I know what God has done through their ministry and now is not the time to stand in judgement or hold unforgivness but choose mercy instead of justice but to pray for them because these are our brothers and wouldn't you want someone to do the same for you? The devil is so stupid they are coming back 10 times stronger than before but we must keep our eyes opened and our hearts rended lest we fall. AS I write this my emotions become overwhelmed because the enemy has no respect of persons and don't think that it can't be you because it very well might be you. Does this situation make them any less anointed by no means. Jesus didn't come for those who had it all together. He came for the weak and the broken. How can you ever know the God who delivers you out of broken places if you have never been broken. I'm asking that everyone who reads this blog feel free to leave comments. Like I stated before this blog is not to bash them but to encourage so if you can't find any encouraging words please don't post anything. Leave encouraging words up here you never know .. they just might read it and it could help bring healing

A Joint Statement from Justin Cox and Chris Facey

There are times in the Christian life when we experience joy, beauty, success, disappointment and failure. Yet in the midst of disappointment and failure God teaches us powerful lessons of love, mercy, and redemption.

When we first founded P4CM, we founded it on a desire to live a life worthy of the cross and exemplify “passion for Christ.” Recently it has become clear that we have personally drifted from the standard that we sought to uphold as a ministry, and as leaders. Part of pleasing God is admitting when you are wrong, need correction, and help. Because of this we have agreed to step down from leadership at P4CM due to moral failures respectfully in each of our lives in order to have a time of healing, discipline, growth, and restoration. We are deeply grieved and sorrowful for how our sin has affected our church, leadership, and people that have respectfully followed us throughout the years. We see that there are times in the life of David when he was a warrior, a leader, and a broken sinner. You have been with us in our stages of being warriors, you have walked with us as we were before you as leaders, and now we humbly ask you to stand by us as we write our own Psalm 51, and are before you as broken, repentant sinners in need of rebuilding, mercy, and renewal.

This is another chapter in the book of our lives, I know it may feel like a sad time, but we don’t believe this is a sad time. God is sovereignly using this process to discipline and break us, to cultivate and shape us into the men that He has always wanted us to be. Sometimes you have to die before you can live, and this is our time of dying so that we can enter into new levels of life. It is our expectation, that you don’t despair to the point of losing hope, but rather pray for us while taking heed to yourself, it is a time for you to hold on stronger and affirm your own faith with more tenacity than ever before, this is not the end but rather the beginning. We fully support the way P4CM leadership has handled this situation in the loving way God has called them to. Also, we are working with an awesome leadership team of pastors, counselors and ministers that are committed to working on us, and with us for the ultimate glorification of God. Our hope is that this is not the end, but rather the beginning of something new that God is doing in our lives that will result in us being back before you in the future as new and better men of God.

Wasted Life & "Unashamed"

A wasted life and Unashamed...

What would it be like to simply just waste our lives for Jesus? Even in our weak attempts to love Him He embraced the cross and He did all for the sake of love. A powerful man said something that I will never forget " I am not ashamed of where I am because I know where I'm going" My heart leaps every time I hear it because that's the cry of my heart. Wasting your life becomes easy when you know where your going and your not ashamed of the obstacles that you face. You may not have all the answers but you have found a love that is so much greater than the temporary pleasures of this world.

It blows my mind how God takes the things that the world considers as "waste" and He uses them to change the nations and bring revival to a generation... When is the last time the world didn't approve of you? or are you just like them.Do we really understand what we say when we say "I waste my life for Jesus" these our powerful words and they will be tried. It is simply not about the trying of these words but it is the heart behind the person who says them. How many times have you heard someone say "I Love you?" and when it came down to it their words meant nothing.

I've have come to know the one who's Love is pure and undefiled and Hes looking for those who will forsake all for the sake of Love. We will never know love until we know God because that is His very being. The very nature of who He is. Don't be ashamed to waste your life for Jesus becauseHe wasn't ashamed to waste His for you...Selah
